About

Conviction is profitable. Idols are mentors.
Teams become family. Ideas change the world.

Boost

Boost VC is the Bitcoin accelerator. We invest in 20-30 companies twice a year for three months. We provide housing and office space for each company located in the heart of Silicon Valley. We put talent, passion and drive alongside seasoned entrepreneurs and investors to build world changing companies.

By 2017 Boost will accelerate 100 Bitcoin companies. We’re excited to push forward the future of technology. We have an unparalleled network of Bitcoin entrepreneurs, and have been supportive of the space for years. Tribe 5 will consist of 100% Bitcoin companies. Under this umbrella we will be looking at payments, exchanges, block chain technology, Sidechains, and companies that service Bitcoin companies. We are very excited about the focus that this will bring us. Long term we hope to be able to breach other before-the-chasm industries, but Bitcoin is our first step.

    Founder, Finance and Ops

Adam Draper is the founder of Boost VC. He is a fourth generation venture capitalist, and Super Smash player extraordinaire. Adam co-founded a startup called Xpert Financial where he learned all of his startup lessons. He now takes those lessons and guides startups with his “Be Awesome” philosophy of building. Before starting Boost, Adam angel invested in 20 companies including Coinbase, Plangrid and Practice Fusion. His favorite movie is Notting Hill and his favorite pizza joint is Round Table. He also makes pickles.
Brayton Williams is an entrepreneur who went from working at too-big-to-fail Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to startup Xpert Financial. He also leads the recruiting initiative so spends many days cold emailing potential Boost founders in search of crazy ideas. He was the first member of Boost to buy a bitcoin and unfortunately also the first to sell. When not telling people to stop spending money, Brayton attempts to get coffee shops to spell his name correctly.
